A Specialist in Her Field

Jo is a full member of the Division of Neuropsychology, and an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society. She is an accredited Supervisor. Her practice is regulated by the Health Care and Professions Council, and she holds an enhanced DBS certificate.

For the first 27 years of her working life, she was employed in business, youth and community work, support work, the NHS and private caring professions.

Then, in a total life change, Jo had the opportunity to study for an A level in Psychology, which led on to a First Class BSc degree in Psychology and Counselling, then a PhD in Psychology in 2001, and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2005. After finishing her training she worked in an NHS Community Brain Injury Service, before moving into private practice as a Neuropsychologist. Shortly after she gained a Post-Doctoral Diploma in Clinical Neuropsychology at Glasgow University. And the rest is history… with Sage Psychologie.
